The Us + Them tour is on hiatus for the remainder of 2017, but is set to resume in January with an Oceania leg that will include nine concerts booked in seven cities in Australia and New Zealand. The top Canadian venue, Air Canada Centre is next with $4.6 million earned, also from a three-show run. A three-show engagement at Staples Center in Los Angeles is the top grosser on the tour so far with $5.6 million at the box office from just over 38,000 sold seats. Prior to the Canadian dates that all occurred in October, Waters performed stateside - from the tour’s debut concert in Kansas City, Mo., on May 26 through a two-night stint in Boston to close out September. More than 734,000 fans of the Pink Floyd alum caught the tour in North American markets during the run. The tour’s first leg racked up $89 million in ticket sales from 63 concerts scheduled during a five-month stretch. The Us + Them world tour ranks among this week’s 10 top-grossing Hot Tours (see list below) based on shows reported recently from the seven Canadian arenas that ended the opening run. 28 and 29, the last stop on a 45-city jaunt through North America that launched in late May.
